Yu-Gi-Oh and his friends are here for a tournament organized by Kaiba Corporation. You need to get 6 location cards to enter the tournament. To get these cards, you have to face different people in the city. When fighting the Duelists, you have the option of gaining new cards (if you win) or losing cards (if you lose). There is also a card store if you want to buy cards rather than just using what you get from antes.

The battles are played like in the collectible card game. You use the effects and strengths of your cards to defeat other players' cards. By lowering their life points to 0, you will defeat them.

A feature of this game is your duelist level. Cards have certain levels. If your duelist level is lower than this number, you cannot have this card in your deck. This is a new feature that has not been seen in previous games. This feature prevents you from just buying all the best cards at the start and having free time for the rest of the game. By winning duels, you will level up fast enough to start using some of the best cards, although it will still take some time to be able to use the best cards.

Can you enter the tournament and win all 3 Egyptian God cards? Yu-Gi-Oh and his friends attempt to enter the tournament as well. So you will have to beat them in the tournament to win it all. The game features over 900 cards and over 100 duelists.
