Yoshi's New Island is a 2014 platform game developed by Arzest and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS handheld game console. First released in Europe and North America in March 2014, Yoshi's New Island is the successor to 1995's Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island game and 2006's Yoshi's Island DS game, but takes place chronologically between them.
