The WonderSwan is a handheld video game console created by Koto Laboratory—founded by Gunpei Yokoi—and sold by Bandai. A sixth-generation console, it was released in 1999 and was replaced in subsequent years by the WonderSwan Color and SwanCrystal before disappearing from the market in 2003.

Equipped with a 16-bit processor, it positioned itself as an alternative to the Game Boy Color and the Neo-Geo Pocket released the same year.
