Wipeout (stylized wipEout) is a series of video games developed by SCE Studio Liverpool, formerly Psygnosis, a development studio that Sony shut down in August 2012. Appeared in 1995, Wipeout totals eight episodes in 2008. The player takes part in futuristic races at the controls of ultra-fast and armed antigravity machines.
