WEREWOLF: THE LAST WARRIOR NINTENDO NES

An evil boss and his band of bio-engineered monsters have taken over the land and only one man stands in their way. Only he's not a man, he's a lycanthrope, a person capable of transforming himself into a terrible werewolf to give free rein to his anger.

You start the game in human form. The human can punch, jump, move, and fire a live shot that moves horizontally across the screen. By finding a red "W" icon, the human is able to transform into a powerful werewolf creature. Accidentally catching a blue "W" icon or losing too much energy will turn you back into a simple human being. Werewolf form offers higher jumps, faster speed, greater strength, shockwave attack, and the ability to climb walls, so naturally you'll want this form whenever possible. Additionally, the werewolf form has an anger meter which is increased by collecting orbs. After 5 of these orbs, the werewolf will once again transform into a SUPER werewolf with even more strength, speed, and partial invincibility.

There are 5 stages in all. Each with a boss that moves in a distinct pattern.
