The ancient Roman emperor, Hadrianus, has disappeared and the empire wants to confirm if he is dead or alive. To do this, the empire hires a mercenary to fetch.
The player takes the role of this mercenary. The player can choose between four different classes such as a Mountaineer, Gladiator, or Dark Seeker, each with their own strength, vitality, agility, and willpower stats. Players see a map and can select one of several difficulty-ranked mazes to explore. In these dungeons, players will have to fight monsters with their equipped weapons. During combat, players can both give and receive status effects like Paralysis, Poison, and Fear. Players can also use supplies they have equipped on their belts, such as Healing Nuts, Holy Water, and Bombs. Defeating monsters allows the player to gain experience to improve their character. Upgrading earns the player ability points to improve their various abilities.
Besides the story mode, there is also a dungeon mode and a multiplayer mode.
