TINY TOON ADVENTURES THE GREAT BEANSTALK (PS1 PLAYSTATION)

After failing with a plan to make monkeys, Pucky Duck and Buster Bunny are left with only one bag of magic beans. Just like in the fairy tale, a huge bean stalk emerges from the beans and opens up new worlds and - supposedly - great treasures. The player takes control of Plucky while exploring eight different areas in a rhyme-based treasure hunt. Prizes include the goose with the golden eggs and a legendary, priceless harp. The comic quest takes our heroes through classic nursery rhyme locations based on Little Red Riding Hood, the Three Bears, Old Mother Hubbard and more.

The game consists of two parts: first, the sequences on the beanstalk where Plucky tries to reach the next treasure location. These are platforming sections in which the end of the screen must be reached without dying to any of the many obstacles, such as rolling sideways when a weight appears and threatens to bury Plucky. An optional hard difficulty adds additional hazards and traps.

When the clue locations are reached, the game becomes a point & click adventure. Based on a clue provided by Babs Bunny, Plucky must find the correct item to click on. Each location consists of a single screen and has a number of optional hotspots that launch animations. When the object has been found, Plucky receives part of a key; three parts of a key unlock the chance to steal a valuable prize from the mysterious giant.
