Dr. Evil has kidnapped scientist Jenny Aykroyd and it's the Ultimate Stuntman's job to save her.
Ultimate Stuntman has to fight through 7 worlds with 4 stages each and then through the final world which consists of 3 stages. The game has a variety of different gameplay types. The stages go in order of an overhead view stage, a side-scrolling stage, a climbing stage with the android boss, and then a clearing stage.
Aerial view stages allow you to drive a car, boat, glider or dune buggy and try to get to the end before time runs out. You have to do this by dodging or shooting enemies. In all stages, except the one where you receive a glider, you can use a limited number of turbo boosts to speed up your vehicle. In glider stages, you can change your altitude to go above or below various obstacles. All of these levels end with a boss battle.
