The Sum of all Fears is a first-person shooter reminiscent of the Rogue Spear series. It comes from the same development team and looks the same, although it's not as tactical as Rogue Spear.
The story of the game is built around Tom Clancy's book with the same title. You take control of a team of elite fighters trained in hostage rescue and counter-terrorism operations. Every member of the team is the best of the best. The first mission is to take over a television channel seized by terrorists who broadcast their claims around the world. They also have hostages, so you need to make sure no one gets hurt. But this is only the beginning of a global campaign against terrorism taking in 11 missions. A training mode and several difficulty levels are included.
Unlike Rogue Spear, you can't choose team members or gear, everything is preset, from a range of over 15 guns plus grenades. You also can't make your own mission plans, so it's all about controlling a team member, shooting all the terrorists you see, and performing various tasks (disarming security systems, etc. .). Unlike other shooting games, you can't survive many bullets, two wounds are usually enough to kill you. However, you can then switch to another team member.
