The Sopranos: Road to Respect is a third-person action-adventure game based on the popular HBO series "The Sopranos".
In the game, the player takes on the role of Joey LaRocca, a young enforcer working in Tony Soprano's organization. Joey is the illegitimate son of Sal "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero, who turned out to be an informant and was killed by Tony at the end of season 2 of the TV show. The game's storyline, which takes place after season 5 of the series, involves Joey attempting to rise in Tony's organization and step out of his father's shadow.
The game is based on a linear mission. Most missions are given in one of the emblematic places of The Sopranos, such as the Bada Bing or the Satriale. Each of these locations is modeled to resemble the location from the TV show. The player is given low-level tasks such as collecting money and dumping bodies at first, but the story quickly escalates to draw the player into a mob war between the New Jersey crew of Tony Soprano and the Angelo Buscetta crew in Philadelphia.
