The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (or simply The Wind Waker) is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo's EAD division and released by Nintendo for the GameCube on December 13, 2002 in Japan, then March 2003 in North America and in May 2003 in Europe. It is the tenth game in The Legend of Zelda franchise.
In 2013, Nintendo released a high definition remaster of the game for Wii U titled The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD.
