The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (or simply Breath of the Wild, sometimes abbreviated BotW) is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo EPD Division, assisted by Monolith Soft, and released by Nintendo on March 3, 2017 on Nintendo Switch when the console was launched, as well as on Wii U, of which it is the last game produced by Nintendo. It is the nineteenth game in The Legend of Zelda franchise.
