Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (or simply Zelda II or The Adventure of Link) is an action-RPG type video game developed and published by Nintendo in January 1987 in Japan on the Famicom Disk System, the extension of the Famicom. This is the second episode of The Legend of Zelda series, a direct sequel to the eponymous game released a year earlier. It was ported to NES and released in late 1988 in the United States and Europe.
