THE LEGEND OF SPYRO A NEW BEGINNING (NINTENDO GAMECUBE NGC)

The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning deals with the birth of Spyro and his journey to meet his destiny. The intro shows Spyro being saved by a guardian dragon called Ignitus from the "Dark Master's" attack. After hatching, Spyro is raised by dragonflies in a swamp until one day he discovers he is actually a dragon, and he and his dragonfly half-brother Sparx leave the swamp to learn more about the Spyro's past and battle the forces of evil.

Unlike previous Spyro games, the focus is on combat rather than platforming. Spyro can perform multiple combat moves, using both his tail and claws, and has four different breath attacks: fire, electricity, ice, and earth. The game also features several rail shooter runs similar to games like Panzer Dragoon.
