This sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel picks up a few months later. It begins with Rean waking from a coma and setting out to travel the continent in search of his friends.
The gameplay this time around features mech battles, and you have to pilot an airship mid-flight. This allows you to travel wherever you want, making it a much less linear experience. Additionally, you can upgrade orb slots to equip more powerful orbs for your characters. Other than that, the gameplay is pretty much the same as the first one.
