The House of the Dead: Overkill is a rail shooter video game released in 2009 for the Wii and PlayStation 3 and published by Sega. It is one of the installments of The House of the Dead saga, which has very little to do with the other episodes of the series, apart from the presence of "G" and the living dead. With this gory game, inspired by B movies and with excessively coarse vocabulary, Sega was targeting an adult audience on the Wii. A port of the game, in a slightly more complete version called The House of The Dead Overkill - Extended Cut, is also available on PlayStation 3
