THE GOONIES II 2 NINTENDO NES

In a movie released in the 1980s, a group of young people formed a special gang and called themselves the Goonies. Nintendo capitalized on the film's popularity by releasing several games using the characters and music from it, including Cyndi Lauper's theme song. This is their second NES game, as The Goonies was released only for the Famicom system outside of the United States.

You play as Mikie, one of the gang members, whose friends have been kidnapped by the gang's nemesis, the Fratelli family. Your pals and Annie the mermaid need to be rescued, but it won't be easy to sneak into the dark and creepy underground hideout where they're being held. You must find a way to destroy their main computer and stop your friends from becoming killers on the road. If Ma Fratelli or crazy cousin Pipsqueak doesn't stop you, one of his two crazy sons will!
