Tetris Tengen Nintendo NES

In May 1989, an arcade version was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System under Atari's Tengen brand, without a Nintendo license. Issues arose regarding the publishing rights to Tetris, and after numerous legal battles, the game was released. As a result, Tengen remained on sale for only four weeks, with fewer than 100,000 copies sold, until Atari was legally forced to recall and destroy all remaining stock of its NES version.
