Based on the Disney Talespin cartoon. Baloo's cargo airline, Higher for Hire, delivers worldwide. The hijackers, led by the daring Don Karnage, increased attacks on air transport. In order to thwart the pirates' plans, Baloo swaps his normal plane for a "Mini Sea Duck", designed to fly more maneuverably. In order for his cargo to be delivered on time, Baloo must fly over many dangerous areas and also recover any stolen or scatter cargo from the hijackers. Eventually, the stronghold of the hijackers themselves must be destroyed to keep air travel safe and profitable.
Talespin is a side-scrolling shooter, moving from left to right across the screen. The Mini-Seaduck can fire projectiles and change direction, flying right and left while upside down. The money you earn from collecting these cargo items can be used to purchase upgrades at the end of each level from Wildcat, the mechanic. Lots of weird boss creatures and devices will guard the last areas of most levels.
