SBK 09: Superbike World Championship is the officially licensed game of the Superbike World Championship league. The main focus is on realistic simulation of riding physics. During the season, the player takes on the role of one of 27 licensed athletes and competes at 13 of the 2008/2009 season's race venues (the Nürburgring is not available). There are up to eight sessions per race, including free practice and warm-up sessions. In the garage, the player can fine-tune almost every aspect of their bike. For beginners, this can be delegated to an engineer. Of course, it is also possible to play a single race weekend or participate in a quick race.
