SUPER MONKEY BALL ADVENTURE (NINTENDO GAMECUBE)

Our four Super Monkey Ball heroes - Aiai, Meemee, Baby and Gongon - were enjoying a typical day when they witnessed a flying machine crashing into a nearby island. Soon they discovered that the mysterious Naysayers had appeared, sowing discord and misfortune throughout the island. And to top it off, the prince and princess from the neighboring islands have disappeared on Jungle Island - if they are not found and returned, there will surely be trouble! Can our heroes restore order to Monearth?

Super Monkey Ball Adventure takes the monkey madness of previous games and gives it a story-based twist. Choosing from one of four monkeys, players travel around the various islands of Monearth, talk to citizens, and perform tasks they request (like delivering sandwiches, finding a missing baby, saving rare flowers, etc.) to cheer them up. .

Some parts of the island are locked by "puzzle doors" - these can only be unlocked by solving the puzzle steps accessible in front of the door. Each pad transports you to a different puzzle realm. Puzzle Realm stages are Super Monkey Ball's most familiar gameplay - simple stages where players must carefully (but quickly) roll their monkey to the finish line within the time limit.

Bananas can also be collected throughout the game - they are used as currency and can be used to unlock new playable characters and puzzle stages. They can also be given to some disgruntled citizens. Monkeys will also learn magic chants as they progress through the game - these let you scale walls, set your monkey's ball on fire, use a boxing glove to attack, and more.

Super Monkey Ball Adventure also includes the famous party games - favorites like Monkey Race, Monkey Target and Monkey Fight Return. There are also three new games: "Monkey Cannon" - shoot monkeys at enemy towers to steal their bricks for your own tower. 'Monkey Bounce' - bounce on a trampoline-like platform together with your opponents and try to claim as many squares as possible. 'Monkey Tag' - roll around the globe and try to collect as many balloons as possible.
