Super Monkey Ball 3D is an action, racing and fighting puzzle game where you play as AiAi and friends. In the action puzzle mode, you guide a balled-up monkey through a maze while collecting bananas. You must reach the end of the level before the time runs out.
The racing mode called Monkey race lets you race solo against Ai-controlled opponents or against up to three other players locally. This mode is similar to Mario Kart and has various bonuses for fighting and protecting against opponents, as well as speed strips and ramps. In the latest mode called Monkey Fight, you fight against Ai-controlled opponents or up to three other players locally in arenas similar to Super Smash Bros.
