Super Baseball 2020 is a futuristic baseball video game. It was first released in Japan for Neo Geo in 1991, then in North America for Sega Genesis (ported by NuFX and published by Electronic Arts) and Super Nintendo Entertainment System (published by Tradewest) in 1993. The North American versions American Genesis and European Mega Drive feature packaging artwork by Electronic Arts artist Marc Ericksen.
The game follows basic baseball rules, but there are several upgrades since the game is set in 2020. The most obvious difference from real baseball is that some of the characters in this game are robots. All human characters are equipped with powerful armor, computer sensors and jet-packs to improve their offensive and defensive skills.
