State of Emergency is a beat'em all type video game developed by VIS Entertainment and published by Rockstar Games in 2002 for the PlayStation 2. The game bears a slight resemblance to Grand Theft Auto III, both in design and in its action aspect.

Its sequel is State of Emergency 2.
