Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels is a fighting video game developed by Krome Studios and published by LucasArts, inspired by the Star Wars saga, and more specifically the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. The release of the game, in November 2008 on Wii, coincides with the broadcast of the first season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
The game features several Jedi, padawans, knights or masters, engaged in the clone wars, whose initiation was narrated in Star Wars, episode II: Attack of the clones and whose outcome is told in Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Most notably, the player follows Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka Tano in their fight against the Confederacy of Independent Systems, an army of droids led by Count Dooku seeking to overthrow the Galactic Republic.
