Star Wars Battlefront II is a first- and third-person shooter video game developed by DICE, Criterion Games, and Motive Studios, and published by Electronic Arts (EA). The game was released on November 17, 2017 on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It follows the video game Star Wars: Battlefront released in 2015. The campaign of the game, present in this second opus, begins after the events of the film Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, when the sidereal base of the Galactic Empire, the 'Death Star, explodes, ending the Emperor's reign. An elite soldier of the Empire, Iden Versio, is then determined to avenge the death of the Emperor.
