STAR SOLDIER VANISHING EARTH (NINTENDO 64 N64)

Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth is set in the far future, where you are the last hope for Earth, which is under attack from an alien race. The game features a top-down 3D scroller, similar to arcade games 1943 or Raiden. You can take control of different spacecraft, each with different advantages and disadvantages, and different weapons. The rule is 1 hit-kill. After 3 lives, you must restart the level.

There is no save function, but a long password is provided to you at the end of each level, as long as you have the patience to put it every time you turn off the game. Each level lasts about 3 at 5 minutes, each with their own challenging boss at the end. Each level has its own secret path to take, depending on what you're shooting (eg shoot a wall, reveal a secret path). All levels lead to a final boss at the end.
