Star Ocean: Second Evolution is a PSP exclusive remastered version of the Playstation 1 role-playing game Star Ocean: The Second Story. The plot and storyline remain the same, but many features are improved and some have been completely redone.
As for gameplay, there are several new controllable characters, additional character interaction, and combat system improvements. Background and character graphics have been improved across the board. Character facial expressions and over 10 new animated cutscenes have been added. The audio has also been revamped with fully voiced and localized dialogue and new Japanese-influenced music.
