Loosely based on the comic book series, the story opens as Carnage breaks out of the insane asylum and wreaks havoc. Spiderman immediately recognizes the new job at hand and sets out to stop it.
You start with Spidey but in some parts you have a choice between him and Venom, who takes you through alternate routes. Gameplay is your standard beat-em-up, regular punches and kicks, with the addition of the most important web - i.e. web swing, web shield canvas, etc
