Space Jockey atari 2600

Space Jockey is a side-scrolling shooter for one player. The object is to earn as many points as possible by having the player's attack saucer shoot down the various passing enemies. Tanks, jet planes, propeller planes, helicopters, and weather balloons will all fly across the screen and attempt to destroy the player's saucer. There are even trees and houses on the ground that can be knocked down for extra points. The player must ensure that he does not collide with the various enemies and his fire or one of the player's three saucers will be lost. Additional saucers are awarded for every 1000 points earned. Several game variations are included that control the game's difficulty, enemy movement abilities, and the player's saucer movement abilities.
