SPACE FURY (COLECOVISION CV)

" SO ! A creature for my amusement! Prepare for battle! These are the words spoken by the alien commander at the start of a game of Space Fury. The gameplay is similar to Asteroids in that you have a wraparound space screen and your ship can only push and pull. However, whereas in Asteroids you faced chunks of rock that couldn't chase you, Space Fury instead provides alien ships that will hunt you down. Each alien ship starts out as 4 pieces with diagonal corners that will try to join. Shooting one of these front pieces is possible and will make things easier for your player. When one or more pieces reach the center point, they combine with other pieces and start shooting at them and chasing your ship. There is only one space screen, so your tactics are limited. However, your ship is not completely basic. Three superstructures are provided from the start, from which you can choose one, which provide additional firepower to your ship.
