South Park: The Stick of Truth is a role-playing video game based on the animated series South Park, developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. Originally scheduled for release on March 5, 2013, it was delayed due to THQ's financial problems. After acquiring the title, Ubisoft announced a December 12, 2013 release, but changed its mind on October 31, 2013, pushing its release back to March 4, 2014, for Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in the United States, and March 6, 2014, for Europe. The game was later ported in 2018 to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
