Sonic 3, whose title is Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in North America and Japan, is a platform video game, developed by Sonic Team, released on Mega Drive in 1994. It takes up the concept of its predecessors, Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2, featuring a few changes like the addition of a new enemy, Knuckles, as well as a new competitive mode and new bonus items.
