Sonic Generations (Sonikku Jenerēshonzu?) is an action and platform video game developed by Sonic Team for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS and Windows released in 2011. It is an anniversary episode created to celebrate twenty years of the Sonic the Hedgehog series featuring characters and worlds from major games in the series created over the previous twenty years. It follows Sonic Colours.
