SOLAR STORM ATARI 2600

In Moonsweeper, your objective is to rescue the miners from the moons of Star Quadrant Jupiter. You start your space mission where you have to avoid the deadly aurora borealis, photon flares and space bullets from the sun in this quadrant. Occasionally you will see a moon pass by, and by flying close to it you can descend to the surface. As you scan the surface, you will see stranded miners that need to be rescued by hovering over them. Also on the surface of the moons are various obstacles that must be avoided or destroyed, such as lunar towers and satellites as well as alien surface destroyers. If you survive and save six miners (the maximum your ship can carry), then you can take off from the surface using the Acceleration Rings. There are several different types of moons in this quadrant, each with a different level of difficulty. To help you, your ship is equipped with photon torpedoes and shields (although you lose points for using the shield).
