In Solar Fox, your mission is to guide a spaceship through a matrix of solar cells and collect as many solar cells as possible. When all the cells in a matrix have been collected, you move on to the next round. Each matrix is ​​guarded by two sentries trying to stop you. Sentinels roam around the perimeter of the Matrix and will fire balls of fire at your spaceship that can destroy it. You are unarmed, so your only defense against fireballs is to avoid them. To help you out a bit, your ship is able to fly at two different speeds. Each round begins with a "jump a rack" timer; if you collect all the solar cells before the time runs out, you will earn bonus points and skip a level. The game ends when you have lost all your spaceships.
