Sniper Elite V2 is a tactical shooting video game developed by Rebellion Developments and published by 505 Games in 2012 on Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. The game is also available in a remastered version on Playstation 4 and Xbox one since April 2019 .
It is a sequel to the title Sniper Elite (2005) which takes place in the same period and location (the Battle of Berlin in April and May 1945), however the narrative framework is different. The story of the game follows a US service agent who must capture or eliminate scientists involved in the German V2 missile program as the Red Army invades Germany against the backdrop of Operation Paperclip.
