Another version of the old Mah-Jong game. The player is presented with an arrangement of tiles, aligned together and stacked, with 2 or 4 each from an array of patterns. These must be removed by matching pairs, but only tiles that are visible and have space to the left or right can be removed.
This version of Activision's Shanghai series includes three games as well as the Classic Shanghai. In The Great Wall, tiles are stacked vertically and fall when the bottom tiles are removed, a la Tetris. In Beijing, spaces are created for sliding groups of tiles. The Golden Tile sees two players attempt to clear a set layout at a time. The triple theme continues with three game modes: Solitaire, 2-player "Pandamonium" and Arcade. Three sets of thematic tiles complete the "Triple Threat".
