Shadow the Hedgehog is a video game released in November 2005 for GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox, developed by Sega Studio USA, the former division of Sonic Team, owned by Sega. The player embodies Shadow, from the Sonic The Hedgehog series, which appeared for the first time in the game Sonic Adventure 2.
It acts as a sequel to Sonic Heroes which was the sequel to Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure.
