SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS GREATEST HITS (PLAYSTATION 2 PS2)

Shadow of the Colossus takes place in the same universe as ICO and is a prequel to it. The entire game is dedicated to locating and battling the Sixteen Colossi, which must be faced and defeated in a particular order. Finding the giant creatures isn't always easy: the hero must ride a horse and roam the vast landscapes of the world, using his glowing sword as an indicator of the colossus' proximity. There are no enemies or dangers in the game world apart from colossus battles. After the discovery of a colossus, a full-scale battle begins. Most of the colossi are huge, and a big part of the challenge in battles is to climb on top of these creatures and stay there, while they try to shake the player character. In a way, the Colossi function as hostile, moving platforms.
