It's a beautiful day and Sam is waiting in Central Park to meet his girlfriend Sally. He sees her and walks towards her. He only has eyes for her and before he knows it, he finds himself in the sewers of New York.
Three Russian submarines have been located in the New York sewer system and they have blocked the system. The only way for Sam to get out of the sewers is to destroy the Russian submarines. Luckily, Sam is carrying his revolver. Sam can't go back...once he's passed through the city sewer, he seals the tunnel. Luckily, Sam is carrying his revolver.
The sewer system has three types of sewer tunnels. Tunnels with dry solid floors, tunnels with a water passage in the middle and tunnels with pits. Sam can walk, run, and crawl through tunnels, but Sam cannot move as quickly through water. Sam can move from tunnel to tunnel by entering one of the passages that occasionally appear in his path. Each time he enters a new sewer, Sam receives a new supply of oxygen.
