Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an action-adventure video game developed by FromSoftware and published by Activision, released on March 22, 2019 on Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game takes place in a medieval-fantasy Japan during the Sengoku period. It is inspired by the Dark Souls trilogy, Demon's Souls or Bloodborne by the gameplay and combat mechanics.

It received very good critical acclaim and various awards, including being named game of the year at the Game Awards and the Steam Awards 2019.
