ROGUE WARRIOR (XBOX 360 X360)

Richard Marcinko, also known as Rogue Warrior, is a former member of the US Navy SEALs who became most famous for supposedly exposing the so-called "Red Cell" operations that he and his team claim were covert missions against real world terrorists. . The game, however, is set in North Korea and UdSSR in 1986. As Marcinko, the player must collect intelligence on ballistic missile launchers. And though his team members are killed right after entering the mission area, Marcinko continues with the mission alone, eventually uncovering and eliminating a larger threat to the United States.

The game is a first-person shooter with a bit of stealth in the mix. Looking through Marcinko's eyes, the player can sneak through levels, using brutal killing moves or a silenced pistol to take out enemies. Or he can run around with guns blazing with the vast array of real-world weaponry like the SPAS-12 shotgun or AK-47 assault rifle, though only two weapons can be carried at once. But since even Marcinko isn't invulnerable, rushing isn't always a good idea. To help the player avoid getting hit, Marcinko can hide behind objects. The camera then switches to 3rd person view and allows the player to blind shoot or take cover to shoot targets.

The game also features a multiplayer mode for up to eight players in Deathmatch or Team-Deathmatch on maps inspired but not directly copied from the single-player campaign.
