The Bourne Conspiracy is a fast-paced 3rd person action game, mixing shooting, some driving (one level) and melee combat. The player controls Jason Bourne, an assassin trying to uncover his past after being injured and losing his memory during a failed mission near Marseille, and now wanted for death by his former employers.
A key feature is the "Bourne Instinct" feature, which allows him to recognize threats and targets, and perform devastating takedown moves using the environment. When you successfully shoot enemies, punch and kick opponents, or smash destructible objects with your car, an adrenaline meter fills up; as soon as one of the three segments is filled, you can issue a one-button takedown and get rid of one of your enemies, or decide to wait to accumulate several segments to neutralize several opponents at once.
