Rio is a party style game using characters from the movie Rio. The story follows Blu, the world's last blue macaw, as he and his owner travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to meet Blu's female counterpart, Jewel.
Blu's Journey contains 40 mini-games inspired by the film. The Xbox 360 version features three additional exclusive mini-games.
There are multiple ways to play including Story, Party, Carnival, etc. Players can choose to play as one of six characters from the film: Blu, Jewel, Pedro, Nico, Eva or Raphael. Up to four players can participate at any time with drop-in/drop-out multiplayer.
