Resistance 2 is the sequel to the first-person shooter Resistance: Fall of Man. The game is developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is available since November 4, 2008 in the United States and November 26 in Europe on PlayStation 3.

The game has a single player campaign made up of 8 chapters including a prologue, as well as a cooperation mode with a specific campaign playable from 2 (offline game) to 8 players (online game). The online competitive mode allows for up to 60 players in a single game.
