Resident Evil: Revelations, known as Biohazard: Revelations (Baiohazādo Riberēshonzu?) in Japan, is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom in late January 2012 for Nintendo 3DS as an exclusive. An HD version was released in May 2013 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC then in August 2017 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and on Nintendo Switch in November 2017. This is the nineteenth Resident Evil game and the second original game to be released on portable consoles.
The game uses the MT Framework graphics engine, and is playable with Nintendo's clip-on console accessory, the Circle Pad Pro.
The action takes place in a vast maritime craft infested with biological weapons. This opus is placed chronologically between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5.
