Red Dead Redemption is an open-world action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It was released on May 18, 2010 in North America, May 21 in Europe and in Australia. It is part of the Red Dead series of video games and is the successor to Red Dead Revolver, released in 2004 by the same publishers.
