Rally Cross 2 retains the original's rugged terrain, with even more jumps and collisions. Multi-tap and 4-player split-screen were not included in the sequel, but 2-player split-screen remains. The ability to control attributes such as suspension, tires, and steering has been added, as well as the ability to paint your car with a primary and detailed color that can be chosen from a wide palette.
