Rage is a first-person shooter developed by id software, announced at Quakecon in August 2007. It is published by Bethesda Softworks and uses the id Tech 5 engine. The game was released on October 7, 2011 on PS3, Xbox 360 and under Windows. A release on iOS served as a demo on December 1, 2010. Author Matthew J. Costello contributed to the game's storyline.
